Aviation was growing worldwide with pace of 10% year on year. It evolved as the fastest and the safest way of travelling. Aviation industry was the growth engine for the developing economies making the world smaller. The growth resulted in development of ultimate airports with state of the art facilities.
Suddenly in the first quarter of 2020, the industry faced power brakes which were never expected.
COVID-19 has posed unprecedented challenges to the Aviation sector. The COVID-19 pandemic is having a massive impact on the aviation industry, affecting passenger traffic, air cargo demand, airport workforce and incoming revenues.
During this Pandemic & Lock down, Aviation played a vital role to bring back stranded passenger from other countries/ within Country. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought aviation to a standstill. While travel bans and restrictions are much required under current circumstances, it has left many people helpless.
Covid-19 is an event which will be always remembered and referred in the history of aviation studies.
The major question which is referred today to Aviation sector is : When would we fly normal?
And the answer is: Probably 2022 or beyond.
